Coalburn Information Sign
This information sign is between the B7078 (old A74) and the Route 74 cycleway, near to the turning for Coalburn. The board was designed by the pupils of Coalburn Primary School and is formed in the shape of a coal bing.

Mother Swan on nest turning eggs, Auchlochan. We went to Auchlochan hoping to see young cygnets but were disappointed to find that the eggs had not hatched. They hatched the next day and we missed it. Date: 14th May 2019

Reminders of Auchlochan No. 6 Colliery
Coalburn Village Green which was built on part of the land formerly occupied by the colliery. Date: 6th June 2019
A coal hutch in Shoulderigg Road on the site of the former No. 6 Colliery. This ia a memorial to mining and miners in the Coalburn pits. Date: 6th June 2019
