Development is going on next to Coalburn Leisure Centre to allow Scottish Water to improve drainage of flood water behind the houses in School Road. An existing play area is being rebuilt nearer to the Leisure Centre so that an access road can be built next to the houses . This will continue behind the houses to a working area near the burn.
