The first full gala after the restrictions because of the Covid epidemic. The weather on Gala Day, 2nd July, was reasonable except for a light rain shower when the procession was in Coalburn Road. Congratulations to the organising committee, Gala Queen Ava and her Court, and all the participants in the Procession.

This year the Crowning Lady was Peterina Clark and Tom Williams was Crown Bearer. Both have had many years involvement with the Gala Day.
