Congratulations to all those who came out to put on a show in the abysmal weather. The weather had deteriorated since the Parade left Turfholm and was distinctly rainy and dull, affecting both the participants and the photography, The Chairman and Highland Chieftain led the Parade on foot, but as you can see, Robert Lawson, the Chieftain had to take off his glasses just before the Fountain as he could not see where he was going. My glasses were the same and the screen at the back of the camera was also covered in raindrops. The lens, fortunately. I managed to keep free of rain. Maybe I should get an underwater camera for next year!
