Congratulations to all those who came out to put on a show in the uncertain weather. There had been drizzle before but it did stop in time for the procession.

David McAra led the procession. The Highland Chieftain, Mamie Hamilton, was taken by car. After regrouping in the Turfholm Industrial Estate, the Parade proceeded along Abbeygreen to the car park at Glebe Park behind the Fountain. This series of pictures shows the Chieftain's Parade in Abbeygreen passing the Fountain. I thought I had a good position but just before the Parade arrived, the Coalburn bus turned up and had to park itself in the Fountain bus bay until the procession passed.
