School Road and Strathaven Road, Lesmahagow
As the name suggests, Strathaven Road links Lesmahagow with Strathaven. It branches off Abbeygreen, initially being called School Road and then turns round a bend when it becomes Strathaven Road. It passes the schools, goes up a hill and then passes the cemetery. The photos here currently end at the junction with Teiglum Road, but Strathaven Road continues past some newer housing estates before heading into the countryside towards Boghead. Teiglum Road and Strathaven Road form an important route for buses through Lesmahagow.
